CTP Workshop: ICDL Saudi Arabia and PSU organized a 3 days' workshop for Certified Training Professional (CTP) at PSU
Eng. Al-Ghemlas: the program provides trainers and training institutions with effective quality standards



PSU launched the CTP program which aims at training the trainers working in the training programs of the ICDL. Those ICDL trainers passing the CTP program will be given a certificate as Certified Training Professionals.

This was stated by Engineer Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Ghemlas, Community Services Center for Continuing Education Director, who added that the CTP program, which was started on 20/5/2009, is directed for ICDL trainers deployed in various educational and training institutions in the Kingdom.

He explained that the program provides the trainers and training institutions with effective quality standards that would be a measure of their services in the area of training.

He added that the program will contribute to the promotion and development of a society of information technology trainers and ensure the quality of training.

Engineer Al-Ghemlas said that the licensed training certificate is different from other qualifications as it requires the candidates to provide tangible evidence of his training efficiency.

He pointing out that this is also an opportunity for the trainers to develop and strengthen their career. He added that Prince Sultan University is the first institution to submit such a certificate at the level of the Gulf, there is another center in Dubai.

It should be noted that the Community Services Center for Continuing Education organizes a lot of training programs that serve the community.
